RESILIENCE RUG PROJECT

RESILIENCE RUG PROJECT

To acknowledge community experiences around COVID-19 and the unusual times that we now find ourselves in, the Community House is creating a Resilience Rug. We are asking for community members to contribute to the community rug. The rug will serve as a reminder of the ways in which the 2020 global pandemic impacted our lives.

HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?

Measurements:  20cm x 20c m square

Material: you can be as creative as you like, crochet, appliqué, knitting, recycled materials, stitchery, drawing on material, felting or anything else you may wish to use! (We will work out how to bring it all together)

Drop Off: Anglesea Community House, before the 12th of July 2020.

Attend our unveiling: Keep a look out for news about a celebration of the finished piece when restrictions have lifted.

If you have any questions or would like to volunteer to support the project then get in touch with us on 03 5263 2116 or  marcelle@anglesea.org.au
