I am excited to be introducing myself to you as the
new Adult Education Programmer for Anglesea & District Community
House. Having completed substantial studies myself and experienced
the benefits of educational opportunities, I am closely connected
to this role. I am anticipating I can contribute to the work already
undertaken in assisting adults in our community to gain skills,
knowledge and accredited qualifications. This will help members
of our community reach desired educational goals, or enrich their
lives through hobbies and interest with local people.
I come from a background of community activity (Nillumbik
Shire Council), and have lived in Anglesea for many years. I have
been involved in numerous community groups and events. My contributions
have included successful grant applications, committee membership
(Anglesea Live, Platypus Toy Library), and Web Site generation.
I am closely bonded to the ideals of community spirit and adult
education, and look forward to becoming more involved.
I see Anglesea & District Community House as a
great community asset and trust that together we can enhance our
local area and its people.
Hope to see you at Anglesea & District Community
House.
Kind Regards, Michele Brighton - Adult Education
Programmer
