AIRAR and APA

Lina Libroaperto from the Anglesea Performing Arts (APA) recently presented a cheque for $650 to Aireys Inlet Rural Australians for Refugees (AIRAR). AIRAR convenor Mary Bremner and Treasurer Keith Bremner were happy to receive the generous donation, the proceeds of the the opening night of the most recent production, Shadows of Angels. AIRAR is an active group with a range of ongoing activities that support people from a refugee or asylum seeker background in the Geelong region. This includes being refugee liasons, letter writing, advocacy and fundraising.
