During this current circuit breaker lockdown the Anglesea Medical Clinic will remain OPEN. Please go to our website here for the most up-to-date information.
Anglesea Medical Clinic reception staff have been fielding hundreds of phone calls about the Covid-19 immunisation. The Clinic has limited capacity and stock so everyone please book in wherever they can to get your immunisation. There are many options in our area, in particular the Covid Hub at the Ford Factory in Geelong via Barwon Health is doing mass immunisations. You are allowed to travel during lockdown to get your vaccination, so go for it!!
When speaking to reception staff at the Clinic please be kind and patient. Staff are working hard under stressful circumstances – they are sometimes managing technical issues as well as the high demand for the service.
If you are able to use Telehealth in the lockdown period please do.
If you have any symptoms, no matter how mild, please arrange to have a Covid swab through Barwon Health in Torquay or Lorne Hospital. You must isolate until you receive a negative result.
If you have been to Melbourne in the last week, we ask you to remain in your car on arrival and call the Clinic. Please remember, it may take some time to get through if the phone lines are busy.
You must continue to wear a mask in the Clinic at all times, use the hand sanitiser on entry and remain 1.5m from other people.
Good luck to everyone doing home schooling again!
Stay safe, be kind, get vaccinated.
