Repair Cafe
Need repairs for broken stuff?

Overview
Repair Cafe Surf Coast, supported by the Anglesea Community House (ACH), is a monthly event where you can get help to fix all your broken and worn-out items.
Whether it’s clothing and textiles, toys, jewellery, small electrical and mechanical items, furniture, garden tools or anything else you can carry into the venue, then it’s likely you’ll find a volunteer there who will be able to help you fix it or give advice.
Repair Cafes are all about repairing things (together) and building community, one fix at a time.
The community volunteers have a broad range of knowledge and skills together with the equipment to help you make the repairs you need on a range of items. There is no charge for repairs. Donations are appreciated to help with the ongoing costs.
The Kids’ Tinkering Zone allows kids to get involved as well. Kids (3-15 years), accompanied by an adult, can take apart a range of small items, learning to use tools, seeing how things work, and also trying to put them back together again.
The Repair Café is also a drop-off point for a range of items for recycling such as bottle tops, blister packs and more.
