Exercise classes for seniors in Aireys Inlet
Overview
Exercise is an intrinsic part of good health, particularly as you get older. These weekly classes are conducted by the local physiotherapist, Greg Walsh. The sessions are focused on improving core strength, coordination and balance. The sessions contain a range of elements including Core Strengthening and Resistance tasks, Balance and Coordination, Stretching and some Aerobic Warm ups. Equipment is provided but if you have an exercise mat bring it along as a sometimes they are in short supply.
To continue the fun, many participants gather for a well deserved coffee after the class.
When, where and how much?
When: Wednesdays at 9am and 10am.
Where: Classes are held at the Aireys Inlet Community Centre, 6 Great Ocean Road.
How much: $10 per 1 hour session.
