Wool Bombing the Community House

Wool or Yarn bombing is a form of street art that employs colourful displays of knitted or crocheted yarn to adorn an object in the public environment. The Community House is offering an opportunity to be part of a creative art installation by inviting the community to contribute to a Yarn/Wool Bombing of the Community House. Spoonsville Anglesea Primary School Parent’s Club has set up a Spoonsville at Anglesea Primary School.  This project is designed to provide an opportunity for young people in the community to feel a sense of connectedness. Check with Les to see if Covid restrictions are in place. Table tennis is back in Anglesea. If you are interested in playing, the venue is the Youth Room at the rear of the Anglesea Memorial Hall, in McMillan Street. Sessions are held on Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday afternoons - 4.00 till 5.00. Rubber soled shoes are all you need. There is no formal commitment. This popular weekly market celebrates fresh local food and produce from around the region.  Running every Saturday morning, 8:30 to 1:00, in the Surf Coast Shire Office carpark.
