House Groups

Talking Points hosted by ABC Radio presenter, Trevor Chappell. These Friday afternoon chat sessions, are growing in popularity each term, so why not come along and join in?

Discussing local issues, the media and also solving the problems of the world, these relaxed and friendly group get togethers are a pleasant way to end the week.

When – Fridays from 2.00 – 3.00 pm

The Anglesea Community House Book Club, meets on the first Wednesday of each month, from 11.00 am to 12.30 pm, at the Anglesea Community House. 12 member limit.

Each month, members take turns to choose a book for the group to discuss and review. Books are usually chosen from the Geelong Regional Library, Book Club Kit catalogue.

Foodlink is a community based, emergency food relief program for Anglesea & Aireys Inlet residents.

Foodlink is a non-denominational, community aid organisation, co-ordinated through the Anglesea Community House.

Anglesea Community Resale Shed 


The resale centre is located within the transfer station site at the local Anglesea Tip, Coalmine Road. Check it out. Lots of bargains – windows, doors, bikes, pushers, electrical, crockery, wardrobes, chairs, tables, baths, sporting goods, rugs, blinds, camping, bric-a-brac and more. You will be amazed at what you may find.

It is open on Monday, Tuesday and Saturday: 10am to 2 pm

Proceeds go to the volunteer community groups who assist at the Recycle Centre, the Anglesea Community House and the Surf Coast Shire.

Open to people of all ages, the Anglesea Community Garden is an attractive and welcoming space to come together and have fun, growing vegetables organically.

Wednesday Stitchery

Wednesdays 10.00 am to 12.00 pm

If you need advice, or you are skilled with any handicraft, or just want to chat then you are welcome to come along. Our ladies quilt, knit, do applique, tapestry and cross-stitch or anything else!
